The role: 

The Retail Manager Travel Retail Hong Kong & Macau, is responsible for retail sales development, both Sell-In and Sell-Out, and the BA team development.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan merchandising activities and trade promotion together with Area Director of Travel Retail Greater China, which includes setting targets, implementation, close monitoring of results and budget. 
  • Focus on the Sell-Out aspects of the function to ensure all intricate details of Hong Kong & Macau is fully embraced. 
  • Address systematically every sell-out drivers to touch points, the Retail Manager’s missions is to ensure all aspects are well covered.
  • Work with Area Director on 360 plans implementation to achieve SO objectives with an ROI mindset always.
  • Monitor any new counter opening or renovation and conduct the project gathering all stakeholders around the table for a timely manner delivery.
  • Develop BA team’s product knowledge, skills and efficiency as well as be the guardian of the counter grooming excellence at any given time.
  • Recruit, motivate and manage and assess Beauty Advisors & Promoters.
  • Review and analyze performance vs store trends and sales mix, to ensure proper inventory level on counter at any given point of time.

You are:

  • Willing and able to grow with the region and the position. 
  • Strong team player to federate cross-departments toward achieving the area’s objectives.
  • Highly independent with a sense of ownership.
  • Reliable and trustworthy as exposed to external stakeholders.

You have:

  • Degree holder in Sales and Marketing or related discipline
  • At least five years relevant experience ideally in Beauty Industry or Luxury Retail
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is a must.
  • Highly motivated with good communication skills.
  • High Microsoft Excel proficiency, working with figures and budgets.
