We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Risk Quality Assurance Manager.


Principal responsibilities

  • Ensure high quality and consistent understanding amongst relationship managers when analyzing financial crime risks (FCR) as part of Customer Due Diligence (CDD), remediation and risk trigger reviews within the Commercial Banking portfolio
  • Identify gaps in knowledge based on analyzing FCC Risk Quality Assurance (RQA) and feedback on propensity for financial crime risks to occur and making recommendations on associated mitigating actions
  • Engage in remediation project, audit review exercise and management action plan(s) that can effectively and efficiently manage financial crime risk
  • Report retrospective results regularly to the teams, escalate observations and concerns, and engage in frequent forward planning activities  



  • University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in banking industry, with good knowledge of managing financial crime risk, compliance and AML
  • Experience working in the CMB frontline and / or financial crime compliance is an advantage
  • Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with organized and logical thinking
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
  • Experience / knowledge in IT system, database management, MI reporting would be an advantage
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes 


(Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant Risk Quality Assurance Manager.)
