Sales and Marketing Director

This is a strategic role within tcc that is critical to providing excellent account servicing to current clients as well as participate in potential winning of new business. To be responsible for driving the overall performance of customer campaigns through the development and execution of integrated campaign marketing plans with partner retailers and agencies that maximize tcc shopper campaign awareness, engagement and (ultimately) participation from pre-store to post store.

This person will be responsible for developing long-term relationships, working to satisfy the customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. Working both internally and externally, to create innovative marketing plans alongside the client that meets the requirements as well as thinking out of the box.

 

Sales & Account Management

  • Work with Sales and Marketing to develop ideas and action plans to win new business and to build client relationships
  • Collaborate to identify clients’ business objectives, challenges, identify opportunities and develop strategies to develop long-term partnership with these clients
  • Attend key client meetings and provide operational knowledge and advice to ensure campaign mechanism and design are aligned with company mission and objectives, and to identify and manage business risks
  • Prepare long-term and short-term goals and account objectives
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with clients

 

Client Servicing

  • Lead the management of this account through close collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Project Management. Represent tcc and become the main contact with the client’s respective teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient communication flow and relationship management
  • Provide strategic direction and client insight to enable successful campaigns to be developed and to drive cross functional teamwork to enable mission campaigns to be delivered with operational excellence
  • Build relationships with key employees among customers
  • Create plans to address clients’ business needs; To input into the strategic direction and associated tactics of client accounts based on a strong understanding of their marketing and business objectives

 

Marketing

  • To lead and manage the Marketing, to provide innovative and collaborative experience for clients, suppliers and business partners
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing teams to identify key objectives, and lead preparation and planning and ensuring internal alignment
  • Develop customized content which is relevant for each Client / Supplier visit and create added value and a seamless experience through:
    • Virtual store development and customization
    • Market insight / research
    • Digital game customization
    • Informative market visits
  • Manage the innovative and collaborative space, ensuring continued innovation and recommend development in system upgrades, virtual stores, and innovative ideas to drive value add.

Requirements:

  • Experience in professional client relationship management
  • Preferably background in advertising, design or marketing
  • The ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective team management capabilities
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
  • Ideally experience within a PR, digital or social marketing agency
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to distill, synthesize and draw conclusions on large amounts of data
  • The ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • An aptitude for being organized, flexible and for delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing and managing a team of cross-functional marketers
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
