Investment Products and Advisory Business - Sales Development Department

Hang Seng's Investment Services business offers a full spectrum of investment products and services to both private and corporate investors. Our customers can invest in over 400 investment funds managed by reputable international fund houses. The funds cover different asset classes, including global equities, bonds, money markets and foreign exchange markets. We also provide asset management services for retirement schemes, institutional investors and charitable organisations.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Sales Development Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • To lead the team to develop and implement distribution strategies to promote investment products/services via appropriate distribution channels
  • Work closely with different product line owners to explore the selling angles of various products to meet the needs of customers
  • Identify the needs of potential customers and to coordinate with internal functions to design/ implement promotion offers for them
  • Evaluate the operative efficiency of different distribution strategies and promotion offers and make recommendations for management review


  • University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years relevant experience, preferably in the banking industry
  • Passes in HKSI licensing examinations preferred
  • Strong self-motivation, detail-minded and has the ability to work independently
  • Good project management skill
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Good in both written English and Chinese, proficiency in Excel application an advantage
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
