Sales Director - Fine Wine (30-40K plus commission)

  • Report to Board of Directors, you will take on the leadership role for Hong Kong & China.
  • Strategize and lead the business and create a long term and sustainable growth for the company.
  • Lead by example in developing new business identifying opportunities, driving sales and fostering strong relationships with high net worth private clients.
  • Execute sourcing strategies to meet business development needs
  • Enhance the procurement procedures to ensure effective control of quality, quantity, storage and costs
  • Review inventory turns against goals for portfolio and identify items with slow sales and excess demand.

Experience Required:

  • at least 5 years' of experience in a wine sales role, with at least 3 years' of experience in a management role.
  • previous wine cellar, club house or auction house experience with strong personal network of private clients is highly appreciated.
  • with a track record of success in developing teams and reaching individual sales targets.
  • strong knowledge for wine, with a general understanding of classic regions / investment grade wines; strong passion for the industry
  • track record in sales management, overseeing full sales processes 
  • WSET qualified, ideally to advanced certificate level
  • be proactive, energetic, self-motivated, result-oriented and have strong interpersonal skills. 


  • 5.5 days week
  • Salary range 30-40K plus commission
