About the Job

  • Work closely with stakeholders in developing, cultivating, and closing deals with leading institutions in the local market.
  • Lead partner engagement in the local market.
  • Create an environment of innovation and rapid response to client’s needs based on a deep awareness of their business from both a tactical and strategic perspective.
  • Plan and execute external client activities and events in an effective manner.
  • Work closely with colleagues on cross-territory opportunities and other internal teams on marketing materials and cause studies.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company's value prop, tech, process and current partnerships.
  • Analyze pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to the sales and marketing teams providing key business insights: typical reporting relates to Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Conversion Rates, Target Account, GTM Strategy, Market Segmentation, Win/Loss analysis.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

About The Team

The Sales Director Role will report to the Regional Head and will play critical role in building business and leading sales targets of the company in Hong Kong. She/He will be responsible for his or her targets and will interact with fellow business unit and sector colleagues regionally and globally. He/She will also help in managing key accounts, in developing new offerings and solutions and in opening new accounts within the territory.

Skill Requirements

  • 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 10+ years in software solutions / IT Application services sales experience.
  • Knowledge of service industry terminology, systems and market segmentation.
  • Must have exemplary communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to be adaptable to the local market and work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Must work independently in complex fast paced environment locally and lead and coordinate multiple stakeholders internally and within client organization.
  • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture.
  • Self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goal.
  • Excellent written, verbal presentation and organizational skills in English, ability to interface with business and information technology.
  • Promising leadership ability, organizational planning skills and strong time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel across APAC region.
