The Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Develop excellent business relationships with relevant APAC retail and distribution to best position and profitably sell the Motorola licensed/branded products (Baby/Dash Cam/Home/Lifestyle)
  • Build a consistent customer network in Consumer Electronics, Audio & Department Stores, Life Style Channels, On-Line and other target retail channels 
  • Professionally manage Key Accounts on a daily basis and continuously hunt for additional business, finding the uncovered category opportunity and other unique ways to grow the Business 
  • Regular forecast and thorough planning of sales, sales margins, channel conditions and sales support activities for the channel(s) with high accuracy 
  • Ensure a solid return on investment while spending promotional budget for the channel in a way that long term sustainability of the brand is build 
  • Give feedback on market related issues to support product planning, pricing and budgeting for the APAC market 
  • The Sales Manager is willing to travel throughout APAC 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Define together with the GM APAC the Sales, Retail and Distribution Strategy
  • Implement the Sales Strategy: work together with current & new Partner(s), kick start and develop the Retail Business
  • Define and implement the Trade Marketing activities
  • Define and implement product training to existing sales partners both online and offline channels
  • Partner with the local distribution sales channels on product strategy, sales plans and on opportunities to improve and grow the business
  • Manage and report performance analysis and forecasting
  • Competitor’s analysis of consumer electronics and lifestyle products quarterly, share quarterly report to GM APAC and the team 

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Economics/ IT or closely related area required; Advanced degree a plus
  • Min 5+ years of relevant experience and proven track record in the Consumer Electronics
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics / Life Style Products is an advantage
  • Strong relationships in the region and Sales experience in the retail and e-commerce channels
  • Excellent overall business management skills including strong negotiating, influencing and relationship management skills
  • Superior organizational, logistical, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaborative with all business partners including Senior Level Executives and industry partners
  • Must be a relationship builder with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • High level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Mac OS
  • Must possess a strong drive for results, action-orientation, entrepreneurial spirit and “hunter" nature
  • Good command of English (Business Level) & Chinese (preferred)
