Role and Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, implement & analyze business strategies to maximize overall sales growth and profitability in line with the Company plan;
  • Secure continued growth by managing existing accounts and identifying and implementing new channels and growth opportunities;
  • Gather market intelligence and monitor industry developments and competitor activity in the local and regional markets;
  • Lead the Global OTA sales direction, formulate and implement OTA sales planning and strategies to maximize sales potential, and work together with outstations to ensure the country’s sales total targets are being met;
  • Implement and develop new business opportunities for Groups & GIT
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with the Market Travel Trade Partners and travel industry arena, Tourism Bureau and Government office
  • Maintain understanding of governmental and regulatory issues in the territory Maintain understanding of governmental and regulatory issues in the territory
  • Work closely with Country offices and General Sales Agents to establish, manage, ensure each parties understand & follow the Company Policy, work together to enhance sales businesses from outstations
  • Prepare regular report and review on weekly and monthly basis Prepare regular report and review on weekly and monthly basis
  • Prepare and update market driven sales plan by different Sales Channel and sales segment
  • Establish and develop GSA relationships at international ports
  • Work with Finance to ensure correct revenue accounting procedures and secure payment methods are set up and maintained
  • Drive, follow up and coordinate with Revenue Management and Group Desk with the group sales demands
  • Drive & work closer with Marketing Team to enhance the market & price positioning
  • To assist on any assigned projects when required


  • Holder of Bachelor degree in any business / aviation / tourism related discipline
  • Minimum six years’ experience in sales, at least two years in a senior sales role with nationwide responsibilities;
  • Proven track record of successful sales and client relationship management; experience in aviation/ travel industry is preferable;
  • Strong remote management skills with international exposure
  • Knowledge of GDS, business intelligence or sales analytical systems will be an advantage
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin;
  • Polished communication skills, able to deal with people at all levels and from different cultures;
  • Energy, results driven and a strong salesperson;
  • Willingness to travel.

  • Self-motivated and energetic team player with solid commercial knowledge and an excellent business and commercial sense;
  • An engaging and persuasive professional with strong communication and relationship building skills, with various cultures;
  • A strategic and analytical leader, but must also be good at details;
  • Strong planning and implementation skills, and the ability to multi-tasking but not losing sight of delivering a high quality of work;
  • An open minded person with positive attitude in embracing challenges. Ability to work under stress and tight timelines;
  • Good international exposure and the ability and sensitivity to work with different cultures is a must. Previous overseas working experiences will be an advantage;
  • Excellent communication skills, spoken and written, in English. Knowledge of Asian languages, particularly Mandarin, Korean or Japanese, will be an advantage.
