Sales Manager (Off Trade & Wholesale) - Luxury

About the role

A globally renowned luxury brand is currently looking for a Sales Manager (Off-trade, Wholesale & Retail) to the brands, products and customers development at Off-Trade & wholesale via formulating sales strategies. Execution of retail excellence and customer engagement are the key developing areas

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for channel sales budgets, which are divided into different categories
  • Accomplishes sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions;
  • Planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures
  • Actively uses Salesforce.com, monitors the call plans executions of junior staff via dashboards & reports
  • Accomplishes sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans
  • Takes responsibilities of the P&L deliveries of their prestige retail outlet, which is part of the retail excellence objectives
  • Establishes productive and professional relationships with key personnel of key business partners
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
  • Manages potential channel conflict by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement
  • Achieves sales operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews;
  • Proposes and manages promotion & listing plans
  • Provides Sales updates to Management Team via Monthly Business Brief
  • Provides information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Develops off-trade key accounts & promote, execute retail excellence

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or any other related field.
  • Experience: at least 8 years in a sales position within a complex and fast-paced business environment. Demonstrate experience in providing useful insights that assist the sales department in establishing appropriate strategies that lead to the achievement of goals and targets.
  • A good leader with clarity in communication with junior sales and collaborating personnel will also be a determinant of the overall performance in the department
  • Ms Office: highly proficient in Ms Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytics: can demonstrate strong analytical skills and an ability to assimilate complex data and information from disparate sources and process it to address a certain need. The candidate will be highly proficient with research solutions to sales as well as effectiveness measurement systems To succeed in this role:
  • Passionate and highly energetic, self-motivated and work under minimal supervision
  • Strong ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines, he / she must also have an ability to work well in group-settings, and have an ability to remain calm under stressful scenarios and uncertainty
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Good in spoken and written English and Chinese
