Sales Manager - Sponsor and Delegate

About The Role
  • Responsible for reaching sales targets on sponsors and delegate sales
  • Give weekly updates on progress of sales pipelines
  • Familiarise with the core events and understand the values of the company and able to determine which market and segment for the company to go after
  • Sell sponsorship packages to various different potential clients in from law firms / financial Institutions / relevant markets
  • Collect market feedbacks through delegate evaluations and help improve the overall customer satisfaction
  • Reporting required for this job function
  • Able to multi task and be a team player for other events when required

About The Person

  • Fluent in spoken and written English is essential
  • At least three years’ experiences in selling sponsorship and or delegate sales
  • Good previous success in delegate sales and sponsorships
  • Already have own client list to work from as well as using previous lists
  • Ability to work with multiple teams and grow the business together
  • Good organisation, planning and communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and good team player, able to communicate with tax, legal and finance professionals
  • Keen business sense, able to detect market trends, sponsorship potential and customer demands, as well as competition environment
  • Preparation of task sales list, timelines & deadlines for individual events
  • Prepared to be thrown in at the deep end, ready to start planning events from day one
  • Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines for conference, speakers, and revenue
