Sales Manager

Job Description
The candidate will join the team, responsible for brand development and management, with P&L ownership for the designated brands of all products, including the followings:

• With P&L ownership, identify the new business opportunities, formulate & implement short and long-term business and marketing strategies to achieve company’s objectives
• Plan and execute branding strategies to uplift the brand awareness, drive and implement integrated marketing programs to reinforce the brand’s value & competitiveness
• Work closely with the 3rd party distributor to plan and execute trade promotion and new product launch activities, ensure all the sales and marketing initiatives running smooth
• Accurately grasp the brand positioning, leverage customer information for category monitoring; to gain understand of consumer behaviors, competition, pricing and other market variables to drive the business performance
• Manage and control the trade and marketing spending, deliver against financial budgets, timelines and ROI objectives

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (preferably in Business or Life Sciences); MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ sales & marketing experience with P&L ownership; experience gained from Retail/ FMCG/ Pharmaceutical/ Healthcare industry is a MUST
• Preferably contract experience doing high value and complex agreements in the life science industry (e.g., pharma, biotech, medical device)
• Ability to communicate effectively and gain trust and respect from colleagues and peers, confidently present objectives and desired outcomes to top management
• Good analytical mindset and ability to translate trade and shopper insights and strategies into strong go-to-market priorities and execution plans
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Familiarity with pharma or biotech industry desirable.
