The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for the development of new customer accounts, ensuring that we maintain excellent day-to-day customer relationships (subscriber or supplier), in addition to maximizing all revenue opportunities for the business with their customers.  The overall objective of the Sales & Marketing Executive is to ensure the new business development of customer contracts and grow the share of business within the customer, in addition to identifying opportunities for the upsell of new products and services in order to grow the accounts within their existing customer portfolio. 


  • Higher Diploma or above is preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in travel industry role
  • Demonstrates excellent customer relationship management, having developed and cultivated lasting customer relationships
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills (oral and written)
  • Strong sense of responsibility, possess great detail and tracking skills
  • Strong planning, key account & sales management and influencing skill
  • Energetic, outgoing, self-motivated, well organized and have good coordination capability
  • Excellent understanding of the IT, travel and travel distribution industry is a must
  • Hands on experience of MS. Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Proven track record in a solutions selling capacity within high-tech and/or travel industry
  • Self-confident and self-aware with presence and credibility
  • Self-starter with ability to apply initiative
  • Approaches task with dynamism, drive and focus
  • Understanding of GDS Products, Support & Services is an added advantage
  • Highest level of verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin


  • Develop account strategies and orchestrates company resources to maximize sales volume and profit goals within assigned account/territory and accordingly build and maintain an appropriate sales plan
  • Ensure regular reviews are undertaken to track key account performance, and take necessary action in a timely and professional manner
  • Responsible for mapping customer requirements to GDS products and services in order to grow the business – a smoothly orchestrated demo is necessary
  • Actively participate in all budgeting, forecasting, planning and review exercises as required, and take necessary action in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare marketing materials for promotion
  • Provide updated market information to partners and internal staff members
  • Execute the business plans/sales strategies to help further establish brand name within target markets
  • Provide professional, accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries
  • Coordinate with customers, IT support, customer support, and 3rd party suppliers to meet users' requirements, problems solve and implement new installation.
  • Maintain and update all sales activities by individual account by ERP
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date Account Plans as necessary, achieving buy-in for plans with the customer
  • Adherence to agreed profitability guidelines
  • Escalation of exceptional discount requests
  • Ensure that the expert support provided by the Technical Sales team is utilized effectively
  • Contribute competitor intelligence to the Marketing team
  • Develop & participate in sales campaigns that identify and address customer business issues
  • Ensure full compliance with all internal processes
