Sales & Marketing Manager / Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager

Job Responsibilities 

Act as the single point of contact for sales & marketing related matters with below responsibilities:

Sales

  • Day-to-day sales activities include: develop and execute pricing strategies, OTA management, promotion set up, sales & event enquiries, corporate sales call & hotel visit etc.
  • Achieve budgeted room night/room revenue targets and maximizes revenue through soliciting new sales leads
  • Gather and understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and provide sales performance, forecast and annual sales budget to Board of Director
  • Build and maintain good relationships with existing and new clients to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
  • Produce and implement an account development plan for each assigned corporate account to achieve maximum revenue in both the short and long term.

Marketing

  • Prepare and executes annual marketing plan to budget, in consultation with the Managing Director
  • Identify opportunities and Involve in negotiation and take lead in any hotel project collaboration
  • Work closely with advertising agency on the tactical advertising campaigns' creative and media plans
  • Verifies all advertising for the hotel in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice
  • Develops a comprehensive PR plan per quarter along with agency and executes post sign-off from Managing Director
  • Oversee the positive public image by managing external and internal communication programs and digital marketing efforts.
  • Maintain and update accurate information and promotion on social media and other hospitality websites

Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, hospitality or equivalent with overseas exposure would be a plus
  • Must familiar and diligent with hotel system and sales tools, such as OPERA, Siteminder, OTA extranet, TripAdvisor, MS office etc.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Self-starter with a bias for action; can make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong team player and work closely with other departments. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager
