We are looking for a  Sales Planner for our Hong Kong office:


Working closely with the Director Partner retail and Product Sales Manager, the Sales Planner is responsible for supporting the achievement of key product sales forecasting and planning objectives for UGG, HOKA ONEONE and Teva. The position will be responsible for key areas of influence including forecasting, order tracking, assortment mix analysis and supply management to ensure the achievement of business objective of the DAP distribution business in Asia- Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Supply Planning

  • Consolidate Distributor Forecasts at GTM 1, GTM 2 (pre-line meetings)
  • Prepare a summary of GTM 1 and GTM 2 forecasts including assortment and category growth trends
  • Provide information to distributors of product changes, additions & SMUs made at GTM 1 & GTM 2
  • Provide real time information to Product sales and customer service teams wrt style drops to the sales operations team after each seasonal buy
  • Collect and consolidate sample order from distributors
  • Confirm launch month of each style based on GTM calendar

Sales Analysis and Tracking

  • Collect and Consolidate and prepare market wise investment plans before sales meeting
  • Consolidate post sales meeting forecast from distributors
  • Analysis of sales meeting forecast to ensure support of category and hero product strategy and growth in line with budget
  • Provide monthly summary of Top 10 Styles by brand
  • Track seasonal / monthly buys vs sales meeting forecasts

Sell through Analysis

  • Prepare regular reports for business analysis (weekly report /quarterly report/specific report for US team)
  • Gather markdown plans from distributors
  • Collection/collation of distributors monthly report

Regional Pricing Tracking and Maintenance

  • Follow-up with costing team on outstanding pricing and update distributors/subsidiaries for any price changes
  • Gather RRP from distributors for regional pricing alignment


Education & Any Certifications Required

  • University Graduate
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication in English . (Also fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin a plus)

Year(s) of Experience & Background Required

  • 5+ years of regional merchandising and sales planning experience, Must have experience in footwear
  • Proven success in sales reporting and working with Management teams

                  Functional & Technical Competencies

  • High regard and attention for detail, accuracy and displays analytical and numeracy skills
  • Excellent in planning, organizing and problem solving
  • Ability to adapt to a high-performance driven culture
  • Ability to deliver under pressure
  • Able to expertly work with IT systems such as Oracle, PLM system and Daniel reports (and Deckers International systems). Not experienced in these specific software applications, but extensive experience with other similar software.
  • Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and to continually improve reporting standards
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint a must
