Sales Support Executive


Primary role purpose:

We are currently presenting an exciting opportunity as a Sales Support Executive to join our sales team which is within the Maritime Division of Inmarsat’s business.

The position of Sales Support Executive is established to collect the tasks associated with coordination of customer inquiries. This position will be responsible for customer information and coordination internally to provide the customer with the necessary information and support in our services. This position will work towards specified customer accounts in close cooperation with the Sales Support Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales support and customer accounts management
  • Support Sales Manager for routine sales activities and prepare sales reports
  • Coordination of the input of different departments in order to fulfil customer requirements
  • Acting as primary contact person for small and medium sized accounts in assigned region
  • Work according to company procedures and guidelines
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customer in order to increase customer satisfaction
  • Assist on office administration duties as assigned


Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Have minimum a diploma/ degree.
  • Preferred with relevant experience within the area of work.
  • Have ambitions to develop skills and qualifications within the area of work.
  • Have good English skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to identify with Inmarsat values
  • Service minded and eager to sell
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, social and outgoing
  • Think outside the box, be pro-active and take pride in pro-active problem solving
  • Can cooperate and build good relations to both “internal" and external customers
  • Structured, patient and likes to socialize
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
