The SAP Ariba Services Partner Manager (SPM) manages and works with the service delivery partner ecosystem for SAP Ariba, in order to grow & enhance SAP Ariba’s services delivery capabilities & capacity. The services partner ecosystem comprises of Consulting Partners and BPO partners. The SPM is responsible for proactively developing the partner’s SAP Ariba delivery capabilities by forecasting delivery demand pipeline to ensure qualified resource availability from the partner and building services partner capabilities with a strong focus on short to mid-term perspective.

The SPM is the main point of contact for building the Services partner relationship with SAP Ariba. The SPM is the central advisor to the services partner, owning the partner relationship end to end, and responsible for coordinating all SAP Ariba interactions (with executives, services leaders and teams, sales leaders and teams, product & innovations teams, etc.) in order to drive partner investments and growth in SAP Ariba’s service delivery portfolio. He or she develops partners for long term development, health-of-business and transformation to new solutions, technologies and models. The SPM supports partner enablement to drive partners to self-sufficiency from services sales to solution deployment. The SPM provides support to partners in sales to delivery cycles via coaching, mentoring and shadowing in customer facing activities. Position is measured on revenue, year-over-year growth, and adoption of SAP Ariba solutions.

  • 10+ years working experience in the software industry
  • 5+ years in a partner facing role (ex. Customer Service, Sales, Consulting); experience working at a SAP Ariba partner is a ‘plus’
  • Good executive presence since this role requires working with C-level executives from partner companies
  • Demonstrated partner management and leadership skills
  • Relevant experience in cloud / Procurement/ Supply Chain topics
  • Business development planning and execution experience in driving activity forecasting, resource management, and enablement with partner
  • Effective communication and presentation skills at an executive level
  • High energy - brings innovative ideas to the team and champions best practices
  • Proven capability to work in a team and collaborate; with independent accountability
  • Local market knowledge and understanding (software industry, trends, vertical market industries, etc.)
