Our client is a global innovation leader with technology-based materials, ingredients and solutions. Due to business expansion, they are seeking high caliber candidates to join their new Product Development Team, providing innovative plating solution to fulfill the rapidly advancing technology needs for electronic devices.

Skills preferred: experience in operating analytical instrument like UV-Vis, ICP-MS

Contract Term - Contractor role with full benefits

Fanling location - shuttle provided in Choi Hung (5 days 9am to 5.30pm)

(1) For Research Assistant (Lab Execution Team - XRD)

Due to business expansion, we are seeking high caliber to join our new product development team, providing innovative plating solution to fulfill the rapidly advancing technology needs for electronic devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform metallurgical analysis using X-ray diffraction (XRD) techniques
  • Perform plating test on sample substrates
  • Operate analytical instrument to assess plating quality
  • Record experimental data, generate test result and maintain database.
  • Actively participate in Safety, health & environment program to ensure a high standard of workplace safety.

Qualifications:

  • Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or above in in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or any other science & engineering disciplines
  • 0 – 1 year of working experience in lab; Fresh graduate will also be considered
  • Proficient in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
  • Good communication skills, attentive to details and good team player.
  • Knowledge in crystallography and stress measurement is strongly desired

(2) For Research Assistant – Shared Lab Team

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct interfacial chemical measurements, electrical measurements and chemical analysis, including data analysis and reports on findings.
  • Develop data analysis methods to quantify experimental observations to draw robust scientific conclusions.
  • Work with other researchers to support product development and processes.
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment and facilities.
  • Actively participate in EH&S programs to ensure high standard of safety.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor or above in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or Chemistry.
  • Knowledge in Electrical Engineering or Physics is an advantage.
  • At least 1 year of experience in instrumentation and laboratory work.
  • Experience in performing statistical analysis or mathematical modeling is an advantage.
  • Able to think out of the box about method development and troubleshooting.
  • Willing to acquire new scientific knowledge outside the original educational background.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent team player.
  • Good command of English and Chinese.

(3) Research Assistant (Lab Execution Team - E-Chemical)

Due to business expansion, we are seeking high caliber to join our new product development team, providing innovative plating solution to fulfill the rapidly advancing technology needs for electronic devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform chemical analysis using electroanalytical techniques, e.g. voltammetry, potentiometry, etc
  • Perform plating test on sample substrates
  • Operate analytical instrument to assess plating quality
  • Record experimental data, generate test result and maintain database.
  • Actively participate in Safety, health & environment program to ensure a high standard of workplace safety.

Qualifications:

  • Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or above in in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Applied Chemistry, or any other science & engineering disciplines
  • 0 – 1 year of working experience in lab; Fresh graduate will also be considered
  • Proficient in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
  • Good communication skills, attentive to details and good team player.
  • Knowledge and experience in electrochemical analysis are strongly desired

(4) R&D Research Assistant (Lab Execution Team - General)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform plating test on sample substrates
  • Operate analytical instrument, e.g. Auto-titrator, UV-Vis, ICP-OES, metallurgical microscope
  • Record experimental data, generate test result and maintain database
  • Assist in new method development for assessing plating quality
  • Actively participate in Safety, health & environment program to ensure a high standard of workplace safety.

Qualifications:

  • Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or above in in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering or any other science & engineering disciplines
  • 0 – 1 year of working experience in lab; Fresh graduate will also be considered
  • Proficient in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills, attentive to details and good team player.
  • Experience in printed circuit board or any electroplating industry will be a plus
  • Knowledge in basic statistics is preferred
