Purpose of job

  • Reporting to the Director Dry Cargo Operations, the main responsibility of the Secretary is to provide daily support to the team, including, but not limited to administrative tasks such as collating data for Operations staff in the team, prepare reports regularly, follow up on reimbursement claims for team superintendents and other secretarial duties

Jobs Responsibilities:

  • Provide Secretarial and Administrative Support to Dry Cargo Operations team
  • Answering phone calls for colleagues during their absence
  • Data input and relevant documentation coordination and filing
  • Prepare quarterly Vessel Inspection Reports and presentation materials
  • Prepare Travel Claims Report for reimbursement
  • Copy Invoices for submission to Accounts Department
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Jobs Requirements:

  • Form 6 or above with secretary experience is preferred
  • Fresh graduate with a good attitude will also be considered
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Hardworking with a good working attitude
  • Willing to learn
