RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Team Description
This global trading desk is responsible for pricing, and managing risk from, credit valuation adjustments (CVA) and funding valuation adjustments (FVA). The individual will work closely with traders, salespeople, structurers, strategists, controllers and middle office. The role is focused on the Asia Pacific region and based out of Hong Kong. The applicant must possess strong technical, analytical and communication skills and be a self-starter and a strong team player.

  • Pricing CVA and FVA predominantly for Asia Pacific clients or underliers for the fixed income, currencies and commodities businesses
  • Hedging and managing risk from CVA and FVA
  • Calculating return on counterparty risk capital
  • Collaborating with businesses to find efficient counterparty risk and derivative funding solutions

Basic Qualifications:
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record
  • Strong interest in global financial markets & derivative instruments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Quantitatively oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid work ethic and high levels of motivation
  • Fluent in English, additional language skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in related areas, such as trading, derivatives and/or credit
