Job Description

  • Leading the security team to implement and monitor the efficiency of operations management and “premises-event" management system;
  • Reviewing and implementing the security policies and procedures;
  • To monitor the general performance of the security team;
  • Liaise and maintain good relationship with all related/internal/external parties to operate the premises smoothly;
  • To conduct internal training to the security personnel on the methods and procedures of security within the premises;
  • Conducting risk analysis, reviewing investigation reports, and recommending corrective and preventive measures to the management;
  • Handle complaints, requests and enquiries, support different departments’ activities;
  • Ensure that the premises is being managed up to the required standard;
  • Premises events planning and manning issues;
  • Attend meetings, meet the requirements of clients and government statutory body;
  • Formulate and implement security measures for events/guests and ensure adequate security coverage;
  • Responsible for providing support services on general administration & other ad hoc tasks.
  • Confer with department heads of the premises on matters related to employees’ behavior and security control.
  • Any other duties reasonably directed by superiors/clients/top management.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma holder preferably in Security / Hospitality / Event / Exhibition / Facility / Hotel / Property Management, or related discipline;
  • Holder of Security Personnel Permit and QAS certificate is a must; 
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in security / disciplinary workforces / Hospitality / Event / Exhibition / Facility / Hotel / Property Management of which at least 4 years in supervisory position;
  • Candidates who have solid / extensive experience in the management of same field is highly preferred.
  • Self-motivated and capable to communicate in English and Cantonese; 
  • Outstanding communication skill, high standard of personal integrity and reliability;
  • Strong personal presence, outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills;
  • Good presentation skills and building trust with clients;
  • Good operations management skills and understands historical premises & special events operations;
  • Flexible and adaptable to new challenges and requirements;
  • Good PC skills on MS Office;
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Security Manager or Security Supervisor.
