They are looking for candidates with experience handling accounts payable and receivable controls, preferably from financial background to join their company. Our client is a world leading health insurance industry established in the US. They provide wide range of health insurance products to employers, employees and individual customers in more than 30 countries. Given the stable and family-like culture, the company has relatively low turnover rate.
The company has been experiencing steady growth and is adding a number of new headcounts across front, middle and back-office. This is an additional permanent headcount to their Finance team to support in financial operations for their expansion. Other than daily operations, this team will also work closely with the finance team based in UK to handle on-going automation and migration projects.
Be responsible to the accounts payable/ receivable controls by maintaining a good relationship with other divisions for scheduling payments and settlement.
Handle the daily expenses payment and receipts, intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Conduct daily and regular income verification and posting
Handle daily accounting operations and manage month-end closing
Support the team to conduct the cash flow forecast and financial analysis projects
Assist in the business planning and management reporting
Co-ordinate with different stakeholders including external auditor and other professional service providers from time to time
5 years' relevant working experience, working in financial accounting and insurance industry will be highly preferred
Strong knowledge in IA Reports, IFRS and US GAAP accounting standard
Experience in co-ordinate with statutory, regulatory and financial service bodies
Great understanding of insurance financial statements, controls and processes
Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
Able to work independently with proactive and innovative attitude
System oriented and able to manage the operation of an integrated information system
