Senior Accountant (Reporting)

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for monthly internal consolidated financial reports and analysis, including actuals and forecast
• Be responsible for monthly consolidated financial statement package to head office and management reporting to senior management on timely basis
• Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast with analysis and breakdowns
• Handle statutory audit and tax filing in HK and Macau
• Be responsible for finance matters and analysis of Administrative Support Departments
• Improve operation efficiency, including system development for consolidation & reporting, and internal control by reviewing current workflow & propose action plans
• Liaise with banks, company secretary, auditors and insurance agents on related matters

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines with professional qualifications in HKICPA/ACCA or finalist
• Acquire the experience in external audit, preparing consolidation reports to head office, statutory consolidation to external auditor and internal management reports. PRC accounting/finance exposure is a plus
• Preferably with 3 years’ experience from CPA firms with group consolidation experience and 2 years’ experience from in-house accounting department in retail or sizable companies
• Proficiency in MS office application (e.g. Excel, Power-points, Words) and computerized accounting system
• Proactive, meticulous and able to work independently, efficiently and under pressure in a demanding and fast pace environment
• Able to communicate and present effectively across all levels including senior management
• Good people management skills, strong teamwork spirit and able to coach and develop subordinates
• Excellent command of both written & spoken English and Mandarin
