Job Overview
- Assist Senior Manager/Manager in performing group consolidation and daily accounting and financial operations
Responsibilities
- Prepare month end closing, financial reporting and consolidation for the group
- Prepare reconciliation, breakdowns and analysis for month-end closing
- Deliver the statutory financial statements and tax documents of subsidiaries
- Liaise with auditors and other external parties (e.g. JV partners) for all aspects of accounting, audit, tax and compliance
- Standardize the financial reports and assist in carrying out process reengineering to improve efficiencies
- Participate in system implementation/enhancement related to Finance to ensure that the system setting and reporting align with the accounting requirement
- Handle ad-hoc assignments/ projects as required
Requirements
- University graduate with HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in handling and/or reviewing consolidation process, plus financial reporting gained from big 4 accounting firms and/or sizable multi-national corporations (Exposure in property industry is highly preferred)
- Good understanding of HKFRS and extensive experience in consolidation
- Attention to details and accuracy, work independently under minimal guidance, self-motivated, capable to handle tight timeline
- Ability to handle multi-tasks and respond effectively to ad-hoc requests
- High competence in written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
- Well versed in MS Office and experience in using SAP (especially BPC module) is an advantage
