Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting, the applicant should be able to lead a team of 8 to 10 staff to perform the financial accounting function of a credit card business. The job duty includes supervising the team to maintain accounting ledgers and related systems, design accounting treatments and perform due diligence assessments for new products and services, handle expenses payment, compute corporate tax, prepare financial reports and regulatory returns, implement new accounting standards and formulate accounting rules and regulations. The applicant may also involve in optimizing current workflow and participate in ad hoc projects to support management's decision in strategic planning and departmental operation.



  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related discipline with CPA qualification in professional accountancy bodies;
  • Solid knowledge in Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards and PRC GAAP. Knowledge in accounting practices in ASEAN countries is an advantage;
  • At least 10 years' practical experience in a Big Four or recognized reputable accounting firm/financial institution, of which 5 years in a managerial position with credit card accounting or auditing exposure;
  • Familiar with Hong Kong consumer lending environment with hands on experience in accounting for complicated financial or credit card products;
  • Good in financial analysis, strong analytical and presentation skills, capable of integrating financial and management information with business acumen;
  • Independent, self-motivated with strong managerial and communications skills, able to work under pressure with tight time schedule. Experience in training is also an advantage;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office with knowledge in Chinese word processing.
