Responsibilities:

• Lead financial accounting functions, focusing in management of accounting projects and designated tasks
• Optimize accounting operation process, and promote the automation and digitalization of daily operation
• Manage accounting projects and other designated tasks
• Regularly report in form of written report and/ or presentation to senior management in Chinese
• Participate in ad hoc projects to support management's decision and departmental operation

Requirements:

• Degree with major in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Qualified member of HKICPA or other professional accountancy bodies
• At least 8 years’ experience in financial reporting in banking industry or recognizable commercial institution, or audit experience in a Big Four/recognized reputable accounting firm, of which 3 years in a managerial position.
• Experience in working in Chinese institution is an advantage.
• Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, well-organized and able to work under pressure with tight deadline
• Strong in collaboration and teamwork
• High degree of flexibility in adaption to changes
• Sound knowledge of HKFRS, IFRS and relevant regulations.
• Good presentation and writing skills in both Chinese and English.
• Proficient in MS Office. Chinese word processing skill is a must.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
