Job Summary

 The accounting officer will be dedicated to handle all accounts receivable and payable. An excellent communicator motivated by taking ownership of their work. Providing best service to customers and handling customer queries professionally.

The accounting officer will be responsible to provide accurate information for the management.


Role Requirements:

To be considered for this role, it is essential candidates have extensive accounting experience in trading company. They will be confident in managing customers account and maintain high quality of services. They are able to work under pressures and meet tight schedule. Good team player and confident on sharing their comments to the management.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Handle Accounts Receivable & Payable
  • Follow up customers outstanding payment and answer customers’ queries
  • Maintain proper accounting record
  • Perform daily accounting duties such as checking staff claims, keeping fixed asset registry, preparing debit/credit notes and bank reconciliation statement
  • Participate in ad hoc financial projects as required

Client Retention

  • Develop and enhance customer relationships by offering an excellent and responsive customer service, tailored to customer needs
  • Work with colleagues to balance customer needs and company policies with regard to finance, logistics and service
  • Engage in constant and active risk management on customer payment status

Knowledge (Education & Related Experience):

  • High Diploma or above in Accounting or related disciplines qualification
  • At least 5 years accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
  • Knowledge in SAP is an advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken in English, Chinese and Mandarin

Skills & Abilities:

  • Multilingual – can speak:
    • Mandarin & English (minimum)
  • Able to use Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Able to manage time effectively
  • Able to present and clearly communicate information in word and writing
  • Able to build rapport quickly with colleagues and customers
  • Able to quickly learn and adapt to cultural nuances
  • Ability to manage and respond quickly to changing/competing priorities
  • Highly organized, able to work independently to plan own time
  • Ability to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high-standard
