The appointee will:
(a) oversee and co-ordinate the full process of payroll including monthly payroll payments, tax returns, MPF and ORSO contributions and other related matters;
(b) prepare reports including payroll and staff cost commitment reports;
(c) prepare annual and semi-annual budgets for staff cost;
(d) follow up and liaise closely with the Personnel Office and/or the Office of Information Technology on issues concerning payroll system enhancement and development;
(e) lead a small team in performing the payroll function to ensure correctness and efficient processing; and
(f) handle enquiries and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Applicants should have/be:
(a) a degree in Accounting or equivalent with five years of relevant supervisory experience gained from sizeable companies in handling full process of payroll;
(b) good management skills with proven supervisory experience;
(c) a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
(d) well versed in Employment / Inland Revenue Ordinances and MPF Schemes Ordinance;
(e) good analytical ability and PC application skill especially in Excel;
(f) good numerical sense and detail-oriented with strong leadership and organisational skills;
(g) ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; and
(h) a good team player, mature and self-motivated.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a computer application test. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Accounting Officer.
Reference salary range: HK$25,000 - HK$41,000 per month.
