At the moment, we are looking for a Senior Accounts Clerk - Receivable to join our professional team at Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East.
Conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
Ensure the timely billing of accounts. Reconcile all accounts
Maintains a filing system for account receivable records
Balance daily transfer to city ledger and post, edit and update to accounts receivable system. Handle correspondence and queries regarding city ledger accounts. Respond to and resolve account queries
At month end write off over dues after department and guaranteed no show accounts. Prepare and input journals for transfer between debtor accounts.
Process all invoices and statements
Calculate travel agent commissions
Investigate cashiers overs and shorts as required and communicate any unexplained discrepancies to your Manager
1-2 year experiences in an accounting clerical, receiving position or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Preferably in hospitality industry is an advantage.
Diploma or Vocational or above in Accounting or Business Administration or related field
Good Communication and writing skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Less working experience will be considered as Account Clerk - Receivable
