We are currently seeking a high calibreprofessional to join our team as a Senior Actuarial Analyst – ALM.


Principal Responsibilities


  • Be responsible for daily actuarial working, mainly ALM, Economic Capital (EC) and other actuarial analytic related issues

  • Produce and monitor the actuarial ALM decision metrics and MI information

  • Provide data analysis, input, UAT and operation of the ALM and EC model

  • Support the implementation of ALM decision to EC and IFRS BAU production process

  • Provide support to other teams within as needed to provide key analytical services

  • Comply with regulatory requirement and Group Standard

Requirements


  • Experience in an actuarial role at a global insurance firm

  • University graduate in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Business Finance or related discipline

  • Certain knowledge of life and retirement industry and products; solid understanding of the regulatory environment and economic conditions in Hong Kong and the region

  • High professional and ethical standards, strong problem solving skills and business sense and strong communication skills

  • Good progress with actuarial examinations, and experience in corporate actuarial may be an advantage

  • Some experience with Asset Liabilities Stochastic (ALS) model or Prophet model
