We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Actuarial Analyst, Modelling.

In this role, you will

  • Conduct day to day actuarial work for developing and maintaining actuarial models for financial reporting, and other actuarial analytic related issues.
  • Ensure that the modelling and financial reporting work is compliance with the internal controls and risk standards, including modelling guideline, Group Model Risk management frameworks, external and internal Audit.
  • Provide support to Actuarial and Risk Analytics teams and Chief Actuary Office, including implementation of new methodology and assumptions and conduct the model development and testing in accordance with Group standards.
  • Provide support on the actuarial items and Management Information under various reporting basis, including Statutory, International Financial Reporting Standards, and Economic Capital for various stakeholders, including Risk, Local Business and Group Insurance.
  • Provide solutions and timely response upon request from different parties
  • Guide junior staff to perform model development tasks

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • University graduate in Actuarial Science, Statistics or related discipline
  • Good progress with actuarial examinations
  • Experience in corporate actuarial, Prophet, VBA and other programming skills will be an advantage
  • Excellent presentation, communication, as well as proficient analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Actuarial Analyst
