Senior Analyst / Analyst V Revenue Management (Analytics)

  • Create a revenue management culture for driving revenue by using statistics, data and trends in decision making.  Assist and enable cross-departmental decision making to maximize total revenue by using data for all revenue streams and external sources.
  • Implement sustainable and efficient analytics processes for all ships, in order to optimize and maximize revenues.
  • Support in analytics tasks including forecasting and modeling.
  • Assist Manager (AM) in SAS model building to provide scientific and clear business insights and projection to commercial partners
  • Calculate port charges with information provided by Port Operations team
  • Assist in implementation of revenue maximization strategies including business mix strategies, identifying revenue opportunities and recommendations.
  • Assist in providing insights from business data and present results to Senior Management and other stakeholders
  • Focus on forecast improvement in term of readiness and comprehensiveness, facilitating  scientific forecast projections, for guidance in revenue decision making
  • Consolidate promotion and relevant information. Assist AM in pre and post departure analysis on promotions and tracking, including incremental and dilution breakdown to provide effectiveness and projection on revenue
  • Investigate reasons for changes in trends and performance
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of staff (Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, Hotel Operations, Setup, RWAS, OBR)


  • Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative discipline
  • Strong analytical skills with at least 1 year of revenue experience. Travel industry background, with revenue management preferred
  • Experience with data analytics tools e.g. SAS
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred
  • Proficient in statistics and sensitive to numbers
  • Energetic with a positive attitude. Guest service and team oriented approach.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum and social skills
