Senior Analyst (IT Solutions) – ITSWS

The Department

The IT Sports Wagering Solutions Department provides application solutions to the Sports Wagering portfolio and is responsible for the delivery of the SP3d Fixed Odds (FO) Host Systems.

The Job

You will:

  • Prepare and document business functional requirements and non-functional requirements. Work closely with the Business Management Team during the requirements analysis and design stage.
  • Develop in–depth business process knowledge and technical skills relating to technology within the business.
  • Supports BA team lead to the overall requirements management framework design and focused on writing complex business requirements analysis in functional and non-functional to support Test Driven Development (TDD)/Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) approach
  • Supports BA team lead to provide full range of IT support to the project and the project team; oversee the day-to-day project coordination and monitoring.


About You

You should have:

  • University degree holder in Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • At least 5+ years of hands on experience in system business analyst and project management
  • Hands-on experience in Agile and Scrum Methodologies – user stories, acceptance criteria writing, sprint planning experience, etc. for test driven or behaviour driven development approach
  • Hands-on experience in collecting functional and non-functional requirements from various levels of users.
  • Familiar with system development life cycle, change management and project management activities.
  • Dynamic team player with a strong sense of ownership and drive.  Adaptive and fast to absorb domain knowledge.
  • Eager to propose fresh ideas, pragmatic, solution driven approach. Highly motivated and team oriented.  Strong drive to success and ability to structure necessary changes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and creative problem solving skills.
  • Effective negotiating, time-management and written & spoken communication skills in English with ability to present ideas in a professional manner.
  • Hands-on experience in JIRA and Confluence tools
  • Knowledge of UML, in particular Use Cases is essential
  • Knowledge on betting business or derivative product trading business is an advantage.
  • Experience with IT tools on requirement gathering and modelling is a plus
