Senior Analyst, Retail Logistics

Be responsible for supporting the management of Gap, Inc’s Asia Hub operations. Managing 3rd Party Logistics Service Provider for Daily Operation in DC and assist in system/process/data analysis to meet service level defined in contract. By collecting, analyzing and communicating key data, this position helps the logistics management team ensure KPIs are met, and successful strategies are developed and implemented. Focus is on all retail markets and brands serviced from the Hong Kong hub. 

This role also collaborates closely with other supply chain functions and other relevant internal business partners to ensure goal alignment and business success.



  • Assist and maintain daily operation of the brands and stores in the HK and TW market.
  • Support the business growth of retail market, support new store opening and store returns.
  • Drive new channels, new brand establishment and development in the market.
  • Accountable for the daily DC operation and communication including daily DC operation schedule verification, store request response, allocation and delivery calendar communication.
  • Support the management of daily logistics functions and 3rd party logistics providers (3PL’s) against service levels, cost and productivity KPI’s. Execute and enforce Asia Hub logistics strategies, SOPs to related business functions to ensure smooth & efficient logistics operations.
  • Identify operation risks and improvement opportunities, logistics planning, partnering with stores.
  • Cross functional partnership in analyzing and sharing information that supports the development of efficient inventory flow plans, processes, service levels & strategies of HK and TW retail business.
  • Responsible for retail logistics operation reporting and Regional Logistics Operation Projects/Assignments in performing key data analysis and reportesign, RFQ drafting and bidding comparison. Support DC off-site set up and migration.
  • Manage data collection, analysis and communication concerning all in-market logistics operations for as operated by contracted 3PLs Measurements of success include logistics’ reliability, cost effectiveness, and ability to support growth in stores and selling channels.
  • Support DC retail outbound planning & delivery calendar optimization.
  • Understand relevant policy, law and regulations. Demonstrate and ensure absolute adherence to Gap Inc.’s Code of Business Conduct as well as compliance with all local laws and regulations.


  • University graduate with at least 3 years’ experience in logistics and warehousing.
  • Experience in multi-national company; retail or consumer goods distribution is preferred.
  • Distribution center operation knowledge (from inbound to DC to store), experience in working with 3PL and 3rd party distribution centre in warehousing & especially in distribution in HK. Inventory Management experience is a plus.
  • Strong Integrity, self-motivated, open-minded and ability to work independently and under pressure in multi-cultural environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong motivation to improve the efficiency of workflow from current status and always look for opportunity to enhance the productivity for the operation. Experience in Lean Activities/Continuous Improvement Initiative is a plus.
  • Strong written and spoken communications skills, fluent in written & spoken English and Chinese
  • Strong computer skills such as those in Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft office software applications.
  • Effective interpersonal, analytical, negotiation and project management skills.
  • Position will be located in Hong Kong, China withDomestic (within Greater China) & International travel is required (as necessary).
