Responsibilities





  • Drive the delivery of risk data analytics to shape insights for decision-making, and continuous improvements in efficiency and robustness of internal/regulatory reporting

  • Oversee the preparation, submission, and disclosures relating to regulatory risk standards, e.g. Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Stable Funding Ratio and Liquidity Monitoring Tools

  • Oversee the preparation of regulatory and internal risk reports for ongoing monitoring and analysis

  • Support the provision of data needed for risk purposes, e.g. review of internal risk methodologies, setting of risk appetite/control thresholds, stress testing, answering ad-hoc regulatory queries

  • Support the preparation of risk updates to risk oversight committees, including the use of any tools (e.g. dashboards)

  • Design testing plan and participate in User Acceptance Test ('UAT') exercises arising from system/ risk engine changes

Requirements





  • Bachelor’s degree holder in finance, accounting, or business discipline

  • Qualified for Enhanced Competency Framework on Treasury Management (e.g. TMA core or full member) is an advantage

  • Good working knowledge on the end-to-end reporting process (including source and cascade of data to the reporting engine and output) and able to work with upstream stakeholders to troubleshoot

  • Project management skills to coordinate or represent the team in data-related exercises, e.g. performing UAT

  • Working experience with vendor/in-house risk reporting engines

  • Balance sheet familiarity

  • Sound knowledge in banking products

  • Technical skills relating to data management is an advantage

  • Understanding of ALM risk and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong is an advantage, e.g. Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Stable Funding Ratio

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management

  • A good team player, result-oriented, with strong sense of ownership
