Senior Associate, Human Resources

  • University Degree in Human Resources Management or Business related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of HR-related experience, with a few years must be in banking & financial services industry
  • Attentive to details and be able to deliver accurate output
  • Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, be a team player, flexible able to multi-task
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a highly confidential and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer skills especially in MS Excel and Chinese word processing
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese with fluency in Mandarin
  • Proficiency in reading or writing simplified Chinese an added advantage
  • Less experience will be considered as Associate, Human Resource

Job Duties:
  • Provide support in recruitment and new joiner logistics to the managers in HR and business units (such as preparation of job descriptions, sourcing channels, checking duplication of candidates, screening resumes and conducting interviews or coordinating with candidates / agencies / line managers on the interview arrangements, following up with line managers and candidates / agencies post-interview, preparation of contracts, assisting in on-boarding logistics)
  • Perform payroll administration, benefits administration, taxation filing and other HR related services
  • Handle staff movement and contract preparation
  • Handle probation pass / extension related matters
  • Assist in employment visa application, extension and termination, etc
  • Liaise with external parties, mainly headhunters with regard to the invoice settlement (including verification of invoices)
  • Consult external official authorities (such as Labor Department, Immigration Department) to clarify relevant issues
  • Compile HR reports for management's review
  • Answer enquiries on HR daily routine issues from staff
  • Assist in other HR projects as and when required
