Senior Associate/Executive - Trade Support

We are looking to make an addition to our market operations division and would like to hear from you if you have experience in trade support or market operations.

Sitting with the front office the primary function of this team is to provide operational support to the trading desk and maintain correct information in the Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) risk management system. The role is within the Trade Support Team who provide operational support to a business which provides clients with an integrated, end-to-end offering across global markets including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and commodities.

This expert team offer timely and accurate completion of all daily tasks to ensure correct information is recorded in CGM’s client and risk management system including but not limited to trade entry, monitoring of cash and position reconciliations, cash payments, rates maintenance. Timely response to all queries related to the information recorded in risk management systems. This includes interactions with traders, internal business units, counterparts, brokers and custodians; and identify on-going process and control improvements.

To be successful in this position you will have 2 to 4 years’ experience in middle office and/or operations; exposure in synthetic and/or derivative instruments. Your attention to detail, accuracy and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines will be advantageous.

The Market Operations division within Macquarie's Corporate Operations Group provides independent specialist verification, confirmation and settlement facilities for a variety of products and currencies for many of Macquarie's businesses globally.
