Senior Building Services Inspector (Quality Audit) (3-year Contract)

- Be responsible to the Head of Quality Audit and progress review of various contract works.
- Conduct independent quality audit and inspection of building services works at various stages during construction or upon completion in accordance with the quality requirements of the HKHS.
- Carry out independent on-site or off-site inspection on fabrication of building services elements, witness testing and commissioning of building services systems, equipment and materials.
- Attend meetings and coordinate with the project team on site on quality matters.
- Prepare reports on inspection and recommend areas of improvement.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
The Person
- Degree holder in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline.
- MHKIE or equivalent preferred.
- 10 years’ relevant post-qualification experience including minimum 7 years’ experience as Building Services Inspector.
- Familiar with building related ordinances, legislations and Codes of Practice, construction sites safety, environmental protection and relevant legislations in Hong Kong.
- Good knowledge of (i) quality system and procedures applicable to building services installations and (ii) relevant latest technologies.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Windows and Office.
