Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the month end closing and reporting for the Hong Kong & Macau and prepare various analysis on financial reporting per Group and Management request. This position will also be working closely with IT and other internal stakeholders on various digitalization and automation for the Finance team.

Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:
  • Assist the Finance Manager in business development planning and implementation
  • Independently handle and manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial reports, forecast, annual budget, and cash flow
  • Perform analytical reviews on monthly financial, estimates and forecast for the Hong Kong & Macau affiliate
  • Work with the IT team to lead various internal initiatives and drive changes to enhance and improve the efficiency of finance operations, with the use of various new systems and automation workflow
  • Coordinate and be the go-to person for internal and external stakeholders such as Sales & Marketing teams, customers, regional head office and shared service centre on all round finance related issues
  • Work with the IT team on the implementation of business intelligence tools and reporting to ensure business performance is monitored on a regular basis
  • Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as required

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Degree holder with professional accounting qualifications e.g. ACCA or equivalent.
  • At least 4-6 years relevant experience in MNC and sizeable corporations.
  • Mature, independent with good analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Hyperion, AS400, is advantageous;
  • Strong business and commercial sense
  • Detail-minded, well-organized with strong numerical sense and high accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
