Senior Business Development Manager, Corporate Services

Encore Professional Services assists clients around the world in conducting business in Asia. As part of the business development team, you will be responsible for increasing the client base by identifying new business opportunities including cross- and up-selling, establishing referral channels and promoting Encore's services. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Independently explore, identify and secure business opportunities through referral channels and direct engagements
  • Create demand and identify innovative opportunities with high revenue impact
  • Formulate marketing and brand positioning strategies
  • Build communication channels with customers and professional intermediaries
  • Understand customer strategy/organization/process/business requirements and provide appropriate advisory and service solutions
  • Design, execute and lead projects across different communication levels or service provider divisions 
  • Act as key member of our Sales Team and provide direct pre-sales support – including qualification of opportunity
  • Prepare proposals and pitch documents
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership material, best practice guides, creation and tailoring of local business consulting service offering
  • Customer segmentation, business modeling, requirement definition, communication plan
  • Provide after-sales support to build a rapport with clients and ensure client retention

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree holder or above, preferably with international exposure or related business management discipline
  • Minimum 8 years’ work experience in business development, ideally from a reputable corporate service provider, law or business consulting firm
  • Familiarity with the corporate services industry with existing network of professionals and intermediaries is advantage
  • Strong analytical skill and understanding of market trends, legislation and regulations
  • A successful networker capable in building up professional network and ability in generating sales leads
  • Result oriented, persistent, customer-focused and able to communicate with senior level management
  • Excellent in spoken and written English, additional language capabilities are an advantage
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Business Development Manager
