Responsibilities

  • Formulate control framework for OTC derivatives client clearing, including drafting policies and procedures, and participating in risk control related projects
  • Analyse and monitor client risk exposure, and propose solutions to mitigate and control risk exposure
  • Responsible for identifying relevant regulatory changes, and analyse the impact on business and clients
  • Prepare regular and ac-hoc reports for senior management
  • Review the business regularly to ensure it meets all relevant internal and external compliance requirements

Requirements

  • Tertiary educated in business, risk, financial market or related disciplines
  • Understand OTC derivatives clearing and relevant interest rate products
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in banking or financial industry
  • Strong understanding on regulatory requirements around OTC derivatives clearing
  • Understand risk control framework within a commercial bank
  • Able to work independently with various stakeholders
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM or equivalent will be an advantage
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, Mandarin speaking will be an advantage
