Job Descriptions:

  • Work with the Business Development Manager to handle and follow business enquiries. Ensure all the details required are received clearly and properly to ensure seamless handover and avoid unnecessary disturbance and inconvenience to the clients
  • Handle and follow up businesses enquiries come in directly, follow through all the way till conversion
  • Arrange quotation and contracts and all communications in writing are recorded and updated in Delphi system
  • Negotiate and coordinate externally with clients and internally with the concerning departments to ensure needs and expectation of the clients are met and businesses are successfully converted
  • Conduct outside joint sales visits with the Business Development partner as and when required
  • Conduct site inspection and in house entertainment when required
  • Work with the Catering and Event Services Team to ensure successful execution of the agreement and the events run as planned
  • Attend Wedding Expo held in HKCEC and in house at the Hotel
  • To establish a rolling strategic three months sales action plan for the approval of the Director of Catering prior to its implementation.
  • Coordinate closely with and provide detailed information to the Banquet operations in order to enable the operations to service the client effectively while the events is in-house.
  • Secure room and catering business from city-wide events.
  • Remain updated on catering menus, set-ups, services, capacities and product knowledge.
  • Develop a strong repeat business base and constantly source for new business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience in the same capacity, preferably in hotel industry
  • Self-motivated and good team player
  • Good presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills with outgoing personality
  • Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Catering and Conferences Manager
