Senior Clerk / Assistant Manager - WMO

Job Responsibilities:

  • Practical operation support of Wealth Management, products including STOCK / FUNDS / SN / BOND; Investment Account Opening and relevant settlement tasks.
  • Responsible to take up system UAT and contribute in related projects of the department.
  • Oversee operations to ensure all settlement works follow the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Follow up non-settle trades with counterparties or customers.
  • Perform checking counterparty confirmations or payment advices, and, investigation if required.
  • Perform filing of all deal tickets and supporting documents.
  • Perform day end GL and transactions checking.
  • Handle audit confirmation from clients’ accountant.

Job Requirements:

  • University graduate or Diploma holder.
  • Diploma Holder in banking or business-related disciplines would be advantage.
  • Over 2-3 years working experience in Wealth Management Operation.
  • Familiar with relative rules and practice of HKAB / HKMA.
  • Knowledge on Banking general guidelines (KYC、AML、FATCA、CRS etc.).
  • Thorough knowledge of securities settlement and nominees’ services with solids hand on experience in handling investment products.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, Chinese, fluent in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel as well as Chinese Word Processing.
  • A good team player, organized, detailed-minded and hardworking.
  • Able to work independently and willing to learn.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
