Senior Communications Executive

The Role

As part of a dynamic team, the Communications Executive will work closely with the PR Manager to enhance the reputation and brand of CPA Australia in Greater China across members, business community and the public. This role will support all media activities and communication events in Hong Kong and Greater China.

The Key Responsibilities include:

  • Work with media outlets and key influencers to raise CPA Australia’s brand awareness and demonstrate the organisation’s thought leadership through media activities in Greater China.
  • Work with the PR manager to handle media inquiries/interview requests.
  • Production of advertorials, supplements and article contributions for publications in Hong Kong, including creating and editing content.
  • Support campaign and publication planning and delivery.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs and implement effective Communication solutions.

 This is a 6-month fixed term role with a possibility to go permanent.


Skills and experience

You will be a proactive and experienced Communications Executive with media/public relations experience ideally having worked in a PR agency role with an expert knowledge in the Financial sector . This is a fast-paced role where you will be required to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

In addition, you will have:

    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in journalism, English, marketing, communications or business.
    • Excellent organisational skills and attention to details
    • Experience dealing with media inquiries
    • Prior experience responding to media inquiries as well as working with various media outlets including social media channels (ie. Facebook, Instagram, Weibo and WeChat)
    • Excellent writing / copy write skills
