Senior Compliance Associate / Compliance Associate (12-month Contract)

Role Description
Support Country Compliance Lead (CCL) on implementation of the elements of an effective compliance program at the market level considering the local legal and regulatory framework, Pfizer policies and procedures and global/regional compliance initiatives.


  • Support CCL in driving local compliance program and local market risk assessment activities
  • Coordinate with other compliance support functions for commercial quality & compliance related projects and tasks
  • Coordinate cross-functional consultative bodies or any approval committees formed to manage compliance risks associated with activities, initiatives or third-party relationship, through supporting logistics and operations of MQCC, RMF and any compliance governance organization in market.
  • Maintain a robust Champions network in partnership with Country Leadership Team (CLT)
  • Facilitates effective implementation and integration of corporate and local policies and market implementation of global controls designed to strengthen in-market compliance
  • Support drafting, alignment, sign off, implementation and update of the SOPs owned by the Compliance Division
  • Create clear guidance and effective procedures designed to enhance controls on the areas identified as result of compliance risk assessments and other reviews.
  • Understand risk profile of market using available metrics, resources and considering relevant enforcement activities
  • Proactively review monitoring results together with Country Leadership Team and BU leads and support to adjust strategies / tactics if necessary
  • Support CCL in the implementation and maintenance of an effective corporate and local training curriculum for the market;
  • Identify training needs, build an effective plan in coordination with other functions, including adequate training on corporate and industry compliance matters (e.g. MAPP/Pharma code/ MOH regulations)


  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Finance, Business, Medical or Science related disciplines, candidates with master's degree are preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ work experience in Compliance, Legal, Finance, Business or control related functions in MNC environment would be an advantage
  • Understanding of US FCPA and pharmaceutical / healthcare industry
  • Strong values and commitment to ethics
  • Attention to details with strong organization skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Highly motivated, mature and a team player with ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Associate
