Senior Digital Strategic and Organisational Alignment Manager - Retail Banking and Wealth Management

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Digital Strategic and Organisational Alignment Manager.

In this role, you will

  • ​Lead the design and implementation of the key specific People Agenda initiatives covering the following three workstreams, Talent and Career Development, Fulfilling Our Potential and Culture and Working Environment.
  • They will lead our People Committee Meetings for Asia Pacific
  • They will be responsible for driving talent management frameworks, people risks as well as succession planning.
  • They will lead the operational people meetings with people managers on a monthly basis, this includes the design and implementation of this. 
  • Deliver our Career Pathways and mechanisms that allow our people to make career moves within the broader Digital community by leveraging Globally created initiatives.
  • Deliver Leadership and Management development programmes to develop leaders for Digital who live the values and behaviours we expect of great Leaders and Managers.
  • In alignment with diversity targets, recruit, retain and promote a diverse workforce, working within an inclusive environment
  • Establish a customer mind-set established across Digital where we truly understand our current and potential customer base, their needs and how we can thrive together
  • Alignment and shared experience created across our distributed teams with a common sense of purpose across all locations
  • Creation of an on-boarding experience which engages prospective and new employees, preparing them for success from day one
  • Recognition of desired Digital behaviours or positive contribution to culture and working environment.
  • Creating a Digital Workplace with the right tools and physical environment delivered in a coherent, useable and productive way
  • Build strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach to execute change at pace with minimum conflict.
  • Proactively increases knowledge and awareness of technical and business trends, changes or advances and assess their impact to existing business applications
  • Maintain an informed network of contacts within financial services, marketing and data or information management disciplines
  • Accountable for the information support to the contact strategy for all 
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
  • Key Stakeholder Group, Digital in global, region and local market and Regional  or Country Executive Management Office
  • Be an effective team player through communication.

  • Works in a facilitative manner to build capability in progressing objectives, but does not lose sight of the profitability and productivity outcomes.

  • Regular review to identify key risks, issues and interdependencies. Determine and apply appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure an equal and balanced focus is maintained on operating and regulatory risks and ensure the Virtual Management Team positively identifies and mitigates these in a manner that protects the Brand.
  • Ensure regular and positive engagement with key support functions in HR and IT to ensure alignment of policies and plans.
  • Implementation of Global Standards, Financial Crime Compliance and Risk considerations in an aligned manner within the context of the RBWM strategy through operational practice and planned activity.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • ​Bachelor degree in business, marketing or other related discipline.
  • Preferably in the digital media or internet space 
  • Ideally in a people and culture position with experience creating and supporting similar people initiatives.
  • Experience leading strategy and operations projects at a top-tier consulting firm or in a corporate strategy operations team is preferred
  • Strong People management skills
  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems, commercial, operational, organizational
  • Strong project management and influencing skills
  • Ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Solutions and detail oriented, with strong commercial or business acumen
  • Understanding of organizational dynamics, operating experience with large and complex organizations
  • people and team leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
