Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm, friendly and efficient check-in, check-out and rooming for all guests, completing all hotel procedures, while paying special attention to any specific requests or preferences from guests.
  • Be well versed with all Guest Relations Officer procedures as outlined on their shift check list and proactively assist with these tasks while providing guidance where necessary.
  • Provide assistance and directions to all hotel patrons. Is well known to city guides, restaurants, artists and other people of interest to our guests.
  • Assist with supervising the shift operations in Guest Relations to ensure all guests are attended to efficiently, satisfying their needs and requests, providing a warm and friendly service environment at the Guest Relations.
  • Assist Guest Relations Supervisor with room allocations for individual and group guests to ensure rooms are ready for check-in upon guest arrival according to their requests indicated upon room reservation, as per Supervisors request.
  • Assist with monitoring all VIP guests welcome process, ensure all guests are well taken care of during their stay, or special events such as guest birthday, honeymoon, kid's program, etc.
  • Check to ensure timely completion of assignments and duties by Guest Relations Officers and that all shift tasks are completed by the end of each shift.
  • Assist with the training of Guest Relations Officers, monitoring their performance to ensure all Officers are following hotel procedures at all times, and to provide feedback and retraining follow-ups when necessary.
  • Monitor and ensure proper set up of payment methods for all guests, supported by credit card imprints, deposits or authorised company/travel agent document, relieving any unnecessary financial risks for the hotel.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 year Front Office experience in an international hotel.  Less experience may consider as Guest Service Officer.
  • Good oral and written English proficiency, strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate with all levels, strong in mathematical abilities, able to work under pressure and leadership qualities.
