Senior / IT Assistant (Windows / Lotus Notes)

  • 5-day week


  • Perform general helpdesk duties and mail server operation support
  • Lead/ guide/ monitor IT Assistants on daily PC Helpdesk operations
  • Provide support to VIP/ LCSD officers in using various IT applications, remote email access and mobile devices such as laptop, tablet and smartphone
  • Perform user account operation such as account creation, deletion and mail quota for Notes / Domain
  • Provide operation support to Confidential Mail System and mobile mail services
  • Perform anti-spam mail checking and update / maintain the mail filters / rules (i.e. blacklist and
  • whitelist) on Internet mail gateway
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties or field support to VIP/ officers
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting/ support for IT users
  • Provide ad-hoc/ on-call support for urgent incidents and support activities during non-office hours may be required; and
  • Provide any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor



  • Higher Diploma or above in IT related subject
  • At least 5 years solid experience in supporting PC Clients running on Microsoft platform, Internet
  • applications, Lotus Notes Mail System
  • Familiar with Microsoft products such as MS Windows 7/10, MS Office 2010 / 2013 and Lotus Notes
  • Good communication skills, mature, self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese; and
  • Holder of Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or
  • equivalent is preferred
