Senior Java Developer - MNC Insurance Group - Digital Transformation Projects - HKD$45k

A leading multinational Insurance Group is expanding their Development Team to cope with the increasing demand of internal digital transformation - new application development, existing system revamp and new technologies acquisition. 

They are keen to talk with experienced Java Developers who are interested in InsurTech with growth mindset, collaboration & communication, ownership & accountability and organisational agility. 

 

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with Business Analysts to receive user requirements for analysis and turning the functional specification into technical specification
  • Design feasible system architecture and develop solutions that will ensure business as usual
  • Hands-on programming to develop the applications
  • Assist Application Manager to deliver the internal digital transformation project by setting the objective, project timeline and budget estimation 
  • Supervise junior programmers in the team to ensure coding quality
  • Develop system integration test case and review test result
  • Prepare documentation, user manual and operations manual 

 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor Degree of Computer Science or Information Technology or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of solid software development experience including solution/architecture design, development and testing 
  • Proficient in Java/J2EE, Spring, Web Services, API, MS SQL, Oracle SQL
  • Experienced in mobile application development (iOS and Android)
  • Knowledge of SFDC, Oracle, ASP.NET will be an advantage
  • Self-motivated and passionate about new technologies
  • Great analytical skill, problem solving skill and communication skill
  • Good team player
  • Good command of English and Cantonese
