Senior L&D Manager

Our client is a renowned global brand with regional offices in Hong Kong. Undergoing substantial growth, they seek a high calibre Senior L&D Manager to join their team. An attractive package and benefits are on offer for the successful candidate meeting the following.


  • Work closely with L&D team and Senior Management to develop and implement learning & development initiatives for the Hong Kong, Greater China, and Taiwan offices
  • Get engaged in new projects and initiatives as prescribed by the business’ strategic plan
  • Cultivate and support a continuous learning environment for internal members as well as external partners
  • Identify and analyse training needs within the organization and then design and deliver various learning & development programs for, i.e. talent development, succession planning and staff engagement etc
  • Work with internal and external parties to ensure training design/delivery meets with expectations
  • Participate with regional counterparts on global training programs


  • Degree holder with minimum 10 years relevant working experience in the L & D function. 3-5 years relevant managerial exposure from the buying office or retail industry is preferred
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels and to lead a team
  • Excellent coordination and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Strategic and critical thinker with proven leadership skills
  • Fast-paced and detailed minded, able to recommend and implement new ideas
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills in working with cross functional teams and departments and a demonstrated ability to influence leaders
  • Independent individual with capability to provide L&D solutions to senior stakeholders
  • Regular travelling is required
