Our client is a Global Telecommunication Company in Hong Kong. In order to cope with their expansion, they are currently looking for a high calibre candidate to join their team:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Global Logistics & Inventory team, including 3rd party freight forwarders and logistics providers.
  • Monitor& negotiate transportation costs to ensure low cost with high service level.
  • Manage warehouse operations and maintain global inventory records.
  • Manage & track global shipments & transactions, including regular shipment / inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties, manage all I/E licensing applications and requirements globally.
  • Manage & enhance internal logistics compliance procedures. Identify potential I/E compliance concerns, and provide solution to address the problem.
  • Ensure 3rd party freight forwarders meet the I/E compliance requirements of our company policies.
  • Comply with company standards of conduct and all relevant statutory requirements.
  • Collect and analyze I/E data to enhance the operation.
  • Coordinate & provide regular training for L&I staff on I/E controls and general compliance in different regions.
  • Perform ad-hoc task as required.
Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor Degree and 6 years of directly related experience in Operations, Logistics or related discipline, or Master’s Degree with minimum 4 years of directly related experience to include I/E Licensing and management experience.
  • Certification on Certified U.S. Export Compliance OfficerR (CUSECO).
  • Knowledge of UK, EU and US I/E laws and regulations, with I/E knowledge of other countries is a plus.
  • Experience in international logistics operations and trade regulations, including EAR and OFAC.
  • Experience in managing I/E compliance, air freight, forwarders and domestic transportation carriers.
  • Familiar with technology release process and foreign trade regulations, as well as compliance tracking systems and recordkeeping system.
  • Strong leadership & negotiation skills.
  • Good command in written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Occasional travelling is required.
